Is a 25 year age difference okay?

A 17 year old girl and a 42 year old married man.

^ That's where they started (click the link). First of all, you NEVER get into a relationship with a married man, think about how you would feel if you found out that the man you believed you loved and trusted was messing around with a girl WAY younger than you were? Exactly, you wouldn't be too damn skippy about it. So if you're dating this man for his maturity, then let him be mature about the situation before you go off and screw him! The man also had 2 children, and I can't imagine they would be too happy, but who would when their father leaves for another bimbo? I mean he did divorce his wife, and then marry the 17 y/o a few years later.

Now, I love older men, in general they are more mature, and I can agree with the woman in the article on that. But ten years is my maximum. Any woman can be happy with a man that will treat her like a Goddess. On top of that, a man who can be a father figure. It's different when you're say 30, and wise enough yourself, and dating a man in his 60s, but being 17 you are no where near wise. I do considered myself, at the ripe age of 20, to be mature, but nowhere near done growing and learning things.

Men in their 20s are normally not mature, and in that regard, I would be okay with my daughter dating an older man, BUT not extremely older. It's possible to find a guy a few years older who can be mature about a relationship, but simply put most men in their 20s run on sex, and could care less about getting married, so no, my 17 year old daughter can not date a man in his 30s+, but I would allow her to find one a bit older who is mature...if she's anything like me anyways. ^^ Well I guess that's all because I lost my train of thought with True Life lol.
